We offer riding school Monday-Thursday during the school year, where we do our lessons both outside in the forest and inside our riding arena. Our riding school focuses on the unique gaits of Icelandic horses, and basic dressage riding.

During the weekends and school holidays we arrange guided riding tours for all levels of experience.

• All horse riding is managed by an experienced and qualified guide/instructor.

• Due to the size of icelandic horses, the weight limit for riding with us is 90 kg/200 lbs.

• All our tour guides speak English and will give you necessary information before the riding starts. Participants should also be able to communicate in basic English, or bring someone who can translate the information for them.

Our intensive courses is the perfect option if you want to improve your riding skills, or get a thourough introduction to horse riding. The courses are open to all levels of experience from age 6 and up.

On intensive courses you receive a 60 minute lesson inside our riding arena, with a qualified instructor. The instructor will adjust the lesson to your level and wishes. There are only 2 riders per lessons, which means you will be closely followed up with instructions during the lesson. You can either sign up with someone you want to share a lesson with, or we will pair you with someone at a similar experience level.

We usually arrange intensive courses once a week, and you can find a course and sign up on our booking page. The intensive courses are listed on the booking page as "Intensivkurs med [name of the instructor]".

If you sign up for a guided riding tour the same weekend as you join an intensive course, you will get a discount on the riding tour. You can read more about the discount and the intensive courses if you click on the activity on our booking page.

The riding school and guided weekend tours are our main activities, but in addition to this we also have theurapeutic riding, teambuilding, riding camps etc.. You can read more about all our other offers here.

Our office hours are from Monday to Friday between 8.30 AM and 2.30 PM. We prefer to be contacted by e-mail, and will reply as soon as we have time inbetween riding lessons and other farm work – but if it’s regarding something urgent, please send an SMS to +47 918 71 497 before 10.00 PM.

You can easily reach our farm by public transport. Bus nr. 22 from Sandnes city center towards Kverneland stops at ‘Vaglemoen’, which is just a 5 minute easy walk from our farm. From Stavanger you can travel by train to reach Sandnes city center. You can plan your journey by public transport here.

When you have booked an acitivity with us, you will receive a confirmation email with a map of our farm and closer description on how to get here by car.
